Hi, I’m Julie!
I am a Texas-based interdisciplinary artist working across photography, moving image, text, and mixed media. My practice explores memory, impermanence, and preservation through image-based and material processes I often think of as visual poetry. Using methods such as scanning, lumen printing, collage, and film, I work with natural materials and personal artifacts as a way of holding on to fleeting moments, emotions, and quiet transformations over time. My work balances process-driven experimentation with an intuitive, poetic approach to image-making.
